About Andrew Morgan:
I am a student of social anthropology and human interaction. I love to see people rise to the occasion and what the human spirit is capable of achieving. I believe that there is almost no subject that, in the right light, cannot be laughed about to prevent the chronic human affliction of taking ourselves too seriously. I love to read and learn and think winning soothes the soul. I find my center and Zen in events and times that are either a physical or mental strain, and believe that it is difficult times that bring out the best in all of us.
My roles at Red Cheetah:
Chief Comedian.
If you laugh about it, it makes it a lot less serious. Occasionally I let Strategic Direction get in the way of the laughter.
Red Cheetah team members describe me as:
"LC" or "Loose Cannon," "Younger than most people think," "Passionate," "Athletic."
What I bring to the table:
Always a fresh perspective based on my varied business background. As a former office products dealer and multi-business entrepreneur, I continually strive to be extremely collaborative, read, learn, and let the best idea win.
Leadership Style:
Trust in those around you and understand that they want to do a great job. Mentor them, give them the tools and stand back and watch. Watch them grow. If that doesn't work, demean them into an even better result.
My management style:
"I suck at that and will always accept help". Also, watching Denny Crain on "Boston Legal" would help others understand me.
Why I love the industry:
The varied backgrounds of all involved and the witness of the daily dedication that independent dealers have to fight the fight EVERY day.
Why I continue to show up for work:
Mostly to torment Steve and the others. If I stopped showing up John Soto might start to feel good about himself. We simply cannot have that.
